from 10 years of DEVOtional gatherings!
Featuring hundreds of photos including
Members of DEVO, Fans, Bands, Devotion!
It’s an unbelievably exciting time to be a DEVO fan. The anticipation around DEVO’s music is the highest it’s been in more than 25 years, and for the last ten years, the DEVOtional has been the prime event to get down and geek out on our favorite band.
That’s right, everybody. TEN YEARS. Thanks to a few dedicated individuals (Michael Pilmer, Scott Orsi, Toth Wilder, Joe Machos and others), DEVO fans have had an annual Mecca meeting ground where we can all get together and do nothing but talk about the one thing we all have in common: DEVO. And who would have thought that, not only would the DEVOtional go on for ten years, but that in that time, we'd see a resurgence in the band’s popularity of this magnitude? And that we'd be on the verge of a new album, their first in 20 years?
It is indeed a wiggly world, spuds, and we’re going to celebrate this anniversary the right way. The DEVOtional is officially extending into a two-day event! That's right!Need to stay overnight? Click here for hotel info!

And don't forget the art!
The Asterisk Gallery will again play host to artwork by KRK Ryden! And the best part is it will be opening around 1pm during the day, so spuds can relax at the Asterisk, listen to KRK play his magic theremin, and then come to the Tavern in the evening to continue the devolved festivities! The vitals:

And that's not the only art! Mark Mothersbaugh's sister, Amy, will be showing Mark's artwork at her gallery in Akron, Ohio called Studio2091. The show opens on August 20th and runs during the DEVOtional. The special show will feature Mark's framed prints, rugs, and a few fantastic vintage works from his sister's personal collection (4 rubber stamp collages he made in the 70's, an original decal mirror, 2 ceramic sculptures, and some misc vintage DEVO items).
